    wie bereits in den letzten Jahren, möchte ich auch euch - als meine diesjährigen Abiturienten - ganz herzlich in gemütlicher Runde zu mir nach Hause einladen, um die letzten beiden Jahre Revue passieren zu lassen und uns auch einmal außerhalb des Unterrichts zu treffen.

Langzeitplanung für das Abitur leicht gemacht

Liebe Abiturienten,

in wenigen Monaten stehen die großen Abschlussprüfungen vor der Türe; auch wenn ich letztes Jahr noch müde belächelt wurde, vergeht die Zeit - wie jedes Jahr - mal wieder im Fluge, so dass es höchste Zeit wird mit dem Lernen für das Abi zu beginnen. Damit ihr nicht drei Wochen vor den Abschlussprüfungen vor einem nahezu unbezwingbaren Berg steht, empfiehlt es sich einen genaue Planung zu erstellen, mit Teiletappen, die das Bezwingen des Berges deutlich erleichtern. Die hier genannten Vorschläge sind sicherlich KEIN Patentrezept und nur für Diejenigen gedacht, die strukturiert planen und lernen wollen.

Um möglichst einfach eine Liste zu erstellen, rate ich euch zunächst dem Link zu folgen und die Excel Tabelle auf euren PC downzuloaden. Damit wird die Erstellung ein Kinderspiel:

NOTA BENE:
Solltet ihr dennoch auch bei den drei angebotenen Terminen zur Langzeitplanung noch nicht alles verstanden haben, könnt ihr jeder Zeit in den Pausen zu mir kommen!

Was solltet ihr alles beachten, wenn ihr euch für das Kolloquium in Englisch entschieden habt?  

• Welches Halbjahr schließe ich aus (11_1 oder 11_2)
• Habe ich den Kolloquiumszettel aus dem Oberstufenseki?
• Worauf lege ich meinen Schwerpunkt? (Die zwei anderen Teilgebiete des Halbjahres werden NICHT geprüft)
• Habe ich alle nötigen Unterlagen? (Liste erstellen mit anderen Abiturienten)
• Wer macht noch Kolloquium in Englisch (Lerngruppe?!)
• Wie geschickt bin ich im Umgang mit der Wörterbuch?
• Wie wirke ich beim Vortrag (mit Handy filmen lassen) 
• Kann ich Gedanken gut strukturieren? ...

Was solltet ihr alles beachten, wenn ihr euch für Englisch als Drittfach entschieden habt?  

• Habe ich beide Wörterbücher (dt-engl / engl-engl)?
• Habe ich das Stark Englisch-Abiturbuch?
• Wer ist noch alles Englischabiturient? (Lerngruppe?!)
• Welche Aufgabenbereiche beherrsche ich bereits?
• Welche Aufgaben (comment, cartoon, questions on the text, working with literary texts ...) muss ich noch verbessern?
• Kann ich meine Aufgaben gut strukturieren (fillers, connectors ...)?
• Habe ich Musterlösungen für die Aufgabenbereiche?
• Was ist bislang an meinen Ausführungen in Klausuren/Unterricht bemängelt worden?
• Worin liegen meine Stärken? ...

Nudie Jeans - a company that keeps it's promise?

Dear students,

  as consumers we still tend to be most receptive to the voices of brand spokespeople; poor working conditions force the workforce to live a humble live in poverty, while managers profit from high margins. One company that seems to swim against the stream is NUDIE JEANS. According to their website they uphold values that guarantee fair wages and an eco friendly product to its customers. But can they really meet their high expectations?

TASKS:

1. Go to their website and do some research about what is being claimed.  Summarize the main facts on 4 PP-slides.
